We are Faction Skis, one of the fastest-growing brands in the Snowsports industry. We share a passion for nature, pushing boundaries, and creating beautiful products. Today our skis and films have won over 100 awards and we shipped over 30,000 skis in 2018-19 for riders in 40 countries.

Our ideal candidate would work out of our London office 1 day a week and lead the company’s HR initiatives with the support from a full time administrative assistant. The individual will work closely with the team of Executives to deliver processes that are aligned with the overall business objectives. 

We have big plans for the future of Faction and our upcoming brands. We are ready for the right candidate to help lead People Management in our 40-person business. Job Description:

Business Development

  • Organise and impliment coaching for management
  • Identify and create processes to address broad employee issues
  • Develop communications programs for the business
  • Participate on project teams and/or play a lead role on various HR projects

Company Culture

  • Focus the mindset for creating positive employee experiences
  • Facilitate the development of organisational culture and climate to meet business and employee needs
  • Ensure all teams are aligned and working towards our common goal
  • Research and develop positive and impactful company culture schemes with a strong focus on sustainability- eg: ride to work incentives, meatless Mondays, etc

Talent Management and Team Development

  • Plan and coordinate the organisation's workforce to best use employees' talents
  • Coach and support business leaders on organisational design and restructuring efforts, including strategy for consultations.
  • Partner with department heads to develop and implement recruiting strategies, which may occasionally include interviewing candidates and reviewing offer letters
  • Develop needs forecast (future requirements for managerial and leadership)

Performance Management

  • Facilitate annual review processes- 360 reviews, KPI’s
  • Provide leadership in the implementation of performance management assuring goals and targets are aligned to planned business outcomes.
  • Support managers and employees in ensuring performance is effectively managed, and individuals developed and supported by setting goals, providing feedback, discerning performance levels, etc
  • Help develop and implement strategies for building and retaining a diverse workforce

Requirements

  • 8-10 years experience in a similar Human Resources role
  • Proven track record of experience in Human Resources medium sized organisation or startup
  • Demonstrate a track record of success and the ability to manage, grow and develop a team
  • A good understanding of how matrix organisations work and have a demonstrated ability to work with senior business leaders
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, communication and management skills
  • A strong passion for team building and people management
  • Tech-savvy - SaaS, Apps, digital are native environments
  • Experience working in an international environment is of advantage
  • A passion for the mountains and the outdoors is key criterium
