HR & Investor Relations Intern
As part of a small team that sells skis to riders in over 30 countries, the intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, international environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of Investor Relations and HR. We are offering a young and exciting environment to work in, with all the challenges of a growing business in sporting goods.
Faction is unique as a modern company. We have over 400 shareholders, each unique, and each deserving attention and support. You will be helping Faction to communicate with current and potential Investors, ensuring they are up to date with the company’s growth, current investment opportunities and any special investor offers. To do this effectively you will need to put scalable email and tracking capabilities into place. We have the excitement, the stories, and the heros. What we need in this role is someone who is organized, who is fluent in SaaS-based tools, who loves planning, numbers, and strives to near-perfection.
You will also be helping to make sure that our HR systems are where they need to be. You will be expected to not just set up these processes and automations but also to get stuck in with the day to day runnings of HR, for example helping write job descriptions and particularly in ensuring that managers and employees are doing their parts to ensure a strong feedback loop.
The internship is full time running between 3 months and a year in length, and will be based in our London (Shoreditch) office.
- Fluent in English (French and/or German would be a plus)
- Extremely organised
- Working toward a university degree
- Comfortable using new technologies & software, particularly web-based tools
- Basic excel skills (you should know what lookups and pivot tables are)
- Great communicator
- A ‘startup’ mentality – things get done because you make them happen
You will receive one full Faction set-up, plus a monthly contribution to living costs, for year long internships we also try and get you out to our HQ in Verbier for some skiing.
